"My buddies and I took a motorcycle ride to Mineral Wells on a nice Sunday morning. I was looking for a good breakfast spot and saw some great reviews. I was pleasantly surprised to only wait 10 minutes for a table of six at 10 am on a Sunday. This staff is so friendly too! This is a good ole fashioned diner that was willing to serve breakfast, lunch or even dinner if we wanted. The food was good! Loved the biscuits and the bacon was on the thicker side too! All for under $15. Impressive!"

"Wonderful place to eat. Great staff, great food, amazing people. Locally owned and operated. Had the chicken fried steak, it was great. Sat at the lunch counter and enjoyed the conversation with the staff. If you are in the area, definitely stop in and grab a bite. The homemade pie is delicious as well. "Stopped here for lunch when we first got to town. They serve a great variety of breakfast all day and lunch, with daily specials. Prices are so much better here than DFW area. For $9.95 you choose an entree and 3 sides, with a roll, dessert and iced tea or coffee! What a bargain. Entree wasn't a large portion but plenty for lunch. We went back the next morning and had a wonderful breakfast "

"Laurie and the crew at Jimmy's are awesome. This is easily the best place in town to get breakfast. They were hosting a full house but had a clean table ready to go. Immediately served us beverages and took our orders. Food came out fast hot and they are not shy with the portions. I had the hamburger steak and that gravy is definitely made with love as is everything else on the plate. Thank you guys. I will be back!"

"Breakfast at noonish. I had to have the country fried steak, two eggs, hash browns, and biscuits and gravy. All the cars outside may make it seem like they will have a long wait time, however we got a seat right away. For the two of us it was around $30. I recommend sitting near the order station, it's fun to listen to The waitresses talk to the Cook. ;) loved it."

"Great food, amazing servers, affordable price! Clientele is across the board great. I dont go anywhere else and feel as comfortable as I do here! Its not uncommon to see groups of vets having coffee or strangers talking to each other at the next table. Its like home when you're out to eat!"

"It was jammed packed when I went but they did a phenomenal job. I was 3rd in line when I arrived and they were able to seat my party fairly quickly. I was impressed with the prices and the breading they use for the chicken was the perfect amount of salt and crisp to it."
